April Word Challenge at Bits2Kits.com

I'm the host for the April Word Challenge at Bits2Kits.com. There’s only a couple days left to partipate in the April Word challenge with us. I’m loving the layouts that have been submitted so far. This month’s challenge was to use the word “ADORABLE” some where very visible on your layout.

Easter Egg Hunt

We attended one formal Easter Egg Hunt this year & my sister & brother-in-law did two personal ones for the kids. Here's my layouts using HeavenlyScraps: Hippity Hop Page Kit. It's a two page layout using 2-Page Layouts No 07 by Kristin's Scrap Design.

I'm so excited I could record this time in my kids life. I was lucky enough to have my sister taking pictures, because the whole thing just lasted minutes.

Here's the April Follow My Receipe challenge for you.

I'll give you a recipe of items to include on your layout. These are items that need to be on your layout. You can then add more to your layout as you wish. You CAN create your layout using other designers (although we love to see your layouts with B2K kits).

* 1 light background paper

* Lots of white space in your layout

* Glittery element or swirly doodle

* String or ribbon

* At least 3 photos (it can be the same photo used over 3 times)

* Something green (it could be paper or element)

You can add other items, this is just the minimum your layout must contain. (If you are in need of some of these items you can check out our Bits2Kits store for freebies & sales.)

Bits2Kits April Mega Kit

The April Mega Kit at Bits2Kits is called April Showers Brings Mays Flowers. I really enjoyed making my layout with this kit. I thought the cool stamp frame, the frog & the watercan are really the cutest.

I called my layout 2008 Spring Flowers.

I just found out that I was the gallery standout at Beentherescrappedthat with this layout. I'm super psyched.
