Zoo Pages

My sister & I took the kids to a little zoo this summer. It was the very first time to be at the zoo for either of them. Nathan was more excited about the zoo train than any of the animals there.

I created my layouts using a kit called GF Designz - Zoology 101 from DigiScrapStation.

I really like the layouts I made from a kit called Florishing Flowers by Scrappy Thoughts. It's a fun kit full of flower papers & elements.

New Creative Team

I'm so excited to be chosen as a member for Kristin's creative team! Kristin creates gorgeous templates & has her very own store ScrapWithTemplates.com. Her store is filled with lots of great templates of different sizes 12 x12 , 8-1/12 x 11, photo masks, & some alpha. I also got a preview of some great new things she will be releasing in September!!

Here's the first layout I created using one of Kristin's 12 x 12 templates. I used a kit at Bits2Kits called Hummingbird Juice.

New Journaling Challenge

I posted the next Journaling Challenge at Color Line Design. This time I've started the journaling for you. The goal is to complete "I Wish. . ". Here's a link to check out the challenge.

Spirit of the Sea

I had the opportunity to work with a kit called Spirit of the Sea by Darhena Design. When I saw this kit, I saw all the wonderful shells & elements, I knew I wanted to pull out photos from Florida. I had to scan these photos in to make them digital. I didn't have a digital camera back in 2000. I love my finished layouts. The colors & elements in the kit are fabulous.

Scrapping these photos brought back wonderful memories for me. Florida1, Florida2

ChrissyW has a great template challenge on her blog. I choose photo's of Nathan with his favorite teddy bear & binkie. I used Carolyn Kite's kit HeartLight (at ColorLineDesign Store). The kit includes great red's & greys.

August Collab Kit at Color Line Design

The Color Line Designs put together a fabulous kit this month called "Get Your Party On." You'll be able to earn this during the month of August. This kit has great primary colors so it would perfect for a girl or a boy. The elements include balloons, cakes, candles, presents.




I have posted the first journaling challenge for August. This month we are journaling about our "firsts". We all meet new people, visit new places, try new foods, & get new things. That's what this month's challenge is all about.


My layout was about the first time the kids & I visited a park & had a little picnic. I hope you come over and take a look at the fun layouts submitted for this challenge.
